Reaching Da Streetz meets our community where it lives — on the corner, in our neighborhoods, at front doors, and around the mentoring table — and builds a real path forward from there. Through mentorship, outreach, resources, and opportunity, we create community-driven solutions built by the streets, for the streets.

Founded in 2010, Reaching Da Streetz is an urban 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening the people and neighborhoods that raised us. We believe transformation doesn't start in a classroom or a courtroom — it starts in relationship, in showing up consistently, and in giving people the tools and access they were never handed.
Every program we run — from mentoring circles to a food trailer on the corner — is a doorway into the same mission: pour real resources back into the streets that need them most, and walk with people until the change sticks.

PURPLE Ladies Mentoring
PURPLE™ — Powerful Urban Really Passionate Ladies Excelling — is a 16-week educational enrichment and life-skills course designed to equip young women ages 11–18 with practical skills for leadership, education, relationships, career preparation, financial responsibility, and future success.
HARD Male Mentoring
HARD™ — Having A Real Dream — is a 16-week educational enrichment and life-skills course designed to help young men ages 11–18 develop the knowledge, confidence, responsibility, and practical skills needed to pursue meaningful personal, educational, and career goals.
Community Outreach Street Team
Our direct connection to neighborhoods and families — providing outreach, resource distribution, community surveying, block-by-block canvassing, and connecting residents to valuable resources while using community feedback to help guide our programs and services.
Sugga Puffs Concessions
Serving popcorn, hot dogs, loaded snow cones, and more at community events — good food, good vibes, funding the mission.
SWAGGA Shop
Community-inspired apparel that celebrates culture and neighborhood pride — every purchase helps fund youth and outreach programs.
Klassic Kids
A youth enrichment program offering educational activities, recreation, and summer programming — where kids build confidence and lasting memories.

Build the Block™
A family STEM community car show. Youth, parents, and adults design and build life-size cardboard vehicles from everyday materials — building creativity, teamwork, engineering, problem-solving, and community pride, capped off with a community car show and awards ceremony.
