Who We Are

Built on the block. Backed by a real plan.

Founded in 2010, Reaching Da Streetz is an urban 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening the people and neighborhoods that raised us. We believe transformation doesn't start in a classroom or a courtroom — it starts in relationship, in showing up consistently, and in giving people the tools and access they were never handed.

Every program we run — from mentoring circles to a food trailer on the corner — is a doorway into the same mission: pour real resources back into the streets that need them most, and walk with people until the change sticks.

PURPLE Ladies Mentoring

PURPLE™ — Powerful Urban Really Passionate Ladies Excelling — is a 16-week educational enrichment and life-skills course designed to equip young women ages 11–18 with practical skills for leadership, education, relationships, career preparation, financial responsibility, and future success.
